A simple and delicious pot roast recipe cooked on your Traeger grill.
Ingredients

- 1 (3-4 pound) chuck roast
- 1 (1 ounce) packet dry ranch seasoning mix
- 1 (1 ounce) packet dry au jus gravy mix
- 1/2 cup butter, cut into pats
- 1 cup beef broth
Instructions
- Preheat your Traeger grill to 300 degrees Fahrenheit (150 degrees Celsius).
- Place the chuck roast in a cast iron Dutch oven or a foil pan.
- Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix and au jus gravy mix evenly over the roast.
- Arrange the pats of butter over the top of the roast.
- Pour the beef broth into the bottom of the Dutch oven or pan.
- Cover the Dutch oven or pan tightly with foil or a lid.
- Place the Dutch oven or pan on the Traeger grill.
- Cook for 8-10 hours, or until the roast is tender and shreds easily with a fork.
- Remove from the grill and shred the roast. Serve hot.
Notes
- You can serve this pot roast with mashed potatoes, noodles, or your favorite side dishes.
- Adjust cooking time based on the size of your roast and your Traeger’s temperature consistency.
