- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together lime juice, olive oil, minced garlic, chili powder, cumin, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and black pepper.
- Add the chicken to the marinade, ensuring it is fully coated.
- Marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours in the refrigerator.
- Preheat your grill or oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Grill the chicken for 6-8 minutes per side, or until cooked through and no longer pink in the center. If baking, place chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
