Ingredients

- 1 large egg yolk
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the egg yolk, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce until well combined.
- Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese.
- Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while continuously whisking. Continue whisking until the dressing emulsifies and thickens.
- Stir in the fresh lemon juice.
- Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to your preference.
- Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
Notes
- For a thinner dressing, add a teaspoon of water at a time until desired consistency is reached.
- This dressing is best served immediately but can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
