- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
- 2 tablespoons water (optional, for thickening)
Instructions
- Place chicken thighs in your slow cooker.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
- If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch and water in a small bowl, then stir into the slow cooker during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
- Shred the chicken with two forks or slice it.
- Serve hot.
