- 1 pound ziti pasta, uncooked
- 1 (24 ounce) jar marinara sauce
- 1 (15 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Combine uncooked ziti, marinara sauce, and crushed tomatoes in your slow cooker. Stir well.
- In a separate bowl, mix together cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add dollops of the cream cheese mixture over the pasta mixture in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours, or until pasta is tender and sauce is heated through.
- Stir gently to combine the cream cheese mixture with the pasta and sauce before serving.
Notes
- For a thicker sauce, you can add a little more crushed tomatoes.
- Adjust seasonings to your preference.
- If you don’t have cream cheese, you can substitute with ricotta cheese, but the texture will be slightly different.
