- 1 pound pasta
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 4 ounces smoked cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Optional: Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Reserve about 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
- While pasta cooks, in a large skillet over medium heat, combine softened cream cheese and smoked cream cheese. Stir until smooth.
- Add heavy cream and Parmesan cheese to the skillet. Stir until the sauce is well combined and creamy.
- Stir in minced garlic. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Season the sauce with salt and black pepper to your preference.
- Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the sauce. Toss to coat evenly.
- If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water, a tablespoon at a time, until you reach your desired consistency.
- Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
- For a smokier flavor, you can use all smoked cream cheese.
- Adjust the amount of garlic to your taste.
