- 6 cups fresh peaches, sliced
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt

- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg, beaten

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the sliced peaches, 1 cup sugar, 1/4 cup flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Toss to coat the peaches evenly. Pour the peach mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a separate medium bowl, whisk together 1 cup flour, 1 cup sugar, baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
- Pour the melted butter over the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Add the beaten egg and vanilla extract to the flour mixture. Stir until a thick batter forms.
- Drop spoonfuls of the batter over the peach mixture in the baking dish.
- Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the peach filling is bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
- You can adjust the sugar based on the sweetness of your peaches.
