- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 (16.5 ounce) package refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1 egg, beaten
- Assorted fresh fruits (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, kiwi, mandarin oranges)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- In a medium bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Set aside.
- Separate the biscuit dough and place each biscuit onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Flatten each biscuit slightly with your palm.
- Brush the tops of the flattened biscuits with the beaten egg.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown. Let the cookie bases cool completely.
- Once cooled, spread a layer of the cream cheese frosting onto each cookie base.
- Arrange the assorted fresh fruits on top of the frosting to create a red, white, and blue design.
- Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
