Description

A simple and fresh salad featuring marinated tomatoes and creamy burrata cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 ounces burrata cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the halved cherry tomatoes, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Toss gently to coat the tomatoes.
  2. Let the tomatoes marinate for at least 15 minutes at room temperature.
  3. Arrange the burrata cheese on a serving platter.
  4. Spoon the marinated tomatoes and their juices over and around the burrata.
  5. Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the marinade.
  • You can add other ingredients like thinly sliced red onion or Kalamata olives to the salad.
