Description

A quick and flavorful pasta dish featuring tender beef, fresh spinach, and cheesy tortellini in a rich garlic butter sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen cheese tortellini
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add olive oil and chopped onion to the skillet. Cook until onion is softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute more until fragrant.
  4. Add frozen tortellini and beef broth to the skillet. Bring to a simmer and cook according to package directions, stirring occasionally.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Cook until sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Add fresh spinach and stir until wilted.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
