Ingredients

- 1 pound pasta
- 1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved
- 8 ounces feta cheese, crumbled
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh basil, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain, reserving about 1/2 cup of pasta water.
- While pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add cherry tomatoes and oregano to the skillet. Cook until tomatoes begin to soften and burst, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the cooked pasta, crumbled feta cheese, and reserved pasta water to the skillet. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce coats the pasta.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately, garnished with fresh basil.
Notes
- For a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes with the garlic.
- You can add other vegetables like spinach or zucchini.
