- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1.5 lbs potatoes, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried rosemary
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Optional: Pita bread, lettuce, tomato, onion, garlic sauce for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, combine chicken thighs, 2 tbsp olive oil, paprika, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp black pepper. Mix well to coat the chicken.
- Spread the seasoned chicken in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- In a separate bowl, toss the potato cubes with 2 tbsp olive oil, rosemary, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp black pepper.
- Arrange the seasoned potatoes around the chicken on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the potatoes are tender and golden brown, flipping halfway through.
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes, then slice it thinly.
- Serve the chicken doner and potatoes with your favorite accompaniments like pita bread, lettuce, tomato, onion, and garlic sauce.
Notes
- For crispier potatoes, you can broil them for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking.
- Marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes for deeper flavor.
