Description

Ingredients

  • 12 cups popped popcorn
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Stir in brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt.
  3. Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Pour caramel mixture over popped popcorn and stir until evenly coated.
  6. Let cool slightly until the mixture is easy to handle.
  7. Grease your hands with butter or cooking spray.
  8. Shape the popcorn mixture into balls.
  9. Let the popcorn balls cool completely on wax paper.
