A simple and delicious BBQ chicken recipe perfect for summer grilling.
Ingredients

- 2.5 pounds chicken pieces (thighs, drumsticks, or breasts)
- 1 cup your favorite BBQ sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, toss the chicken pieces with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.
- Grill the chicken for 6-8 minutes per side, or until cooked through and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- During the last 5 minutes of grilling, brush the chicken generously with BBQ sauce.
- Remove chicken from grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in a mixture of BBQ sauce, soy sauce, and a little brown sugar for at least 30 minutes before grilling.
- You can also bake this chicken in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for 30-40 minutes, brushing with BBQ sauce during the last 10 minutes.
