A flavorful macaroni salad perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound elbow macaroni
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Cook macaroni according to package directions. Drain and rinse with cold water.
  2. In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise, celery, red onion, green bell pepper, sweet pickle relish, yellow mustard, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Add the drained macaroni to the bowl and mix well to combine.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier salad, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
  • You can add other chopped vegetables like carrots or peas.
