A quick and flavorful orange chicken recipe ready in 30 minutes.
Ingredients

- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Cooked rice, for serving
- Sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)
- Green onions, sliced, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, toss chicken pieces with soy sauce and cornstarch.
- Heat sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned on all sides and cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, combine orange juice, rice vinegar, honey, garlic, and ginger. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, or until slightly thickened.
- Return chicken to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce. Cook for 1-2 minutes more until heated through.
- Serve immediately over cooked rice, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions if desired.
Notes
- For a spicier sauce, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
- You can substitute chicken breasts for thighs if preferred.
