Description

A quick and flavorful pasta dish featuring sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, and herbs, ready in 30 minutes.


Ingredients

  • 12 ounces pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, oil-packed, drained and chopped
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. While pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Stir in sun-dried tomatoes and cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Add drained pasta, reserved pasta water, basil, and Parmesan cheese to the skillet.
  6. Toss to combine and coat the pasta evenly.
  7. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  8. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a creamier sauce, add a splash of heavy cream.
  • You can add cooked chicken or shrimp for added protein.
