Grilled Nectarine Burrata Prosciutto Salad

Description

A refreshing salad featuring grilled nectarines, creamy burrata, and savory prosciutto.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe nectarines, halved and pitted
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 ball (8 ounces) fresh burrata cheese
  • 4 ounces thinly sliced prosciutto
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Brush the cut sides of the nectarines with olive oil. Grill for 3-4 minutes per side, until slightly softened and grill marks appear. Let cool slightly, then slice each half into wedges.
  3. Arrange the grilled nectarine wedges on a serving platter.
  4. Tear the burrata cheese into pieces and scatter them over the nectarines.
  5. Drape the prosciutto slices over the cheese and nectarines.
  6. Tuck the fresh basil leaves around the salad.
  7. Drizzle with balsamic glaze.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to your preference.

Notes

  • You can substitute peaches for nectarines if desired.
  • For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
