A simple and flavorful recipe for baked salmon with asparagus cooked in foil packets.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound salmon fillet
  • 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Tear off two large pieces of aluminum foil.
  3. Place half of the asparagus on each piece of foil.
  4. Top the asparagus with a salmon fillet.
  5. Drizzle olive oil over the salmon and asparagus.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Add minced garlic and lemon slices on top of the salmon.
  8. Fold the foil to create sealed packets.
  9. Place the packets on a baking sheet.
  10. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  11. Carefully open the packets and serve immediately.

  • You can add other herbs like dill or parsley for extra flavor.
