Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs white fish fillets (like cod, tilapia, or haddock)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • For the Sauce:
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together 2 tablespoons of olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Brush this mixture evenly over both sides of the fish fillets.
  5. Place the fish on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. While the fish is baking, prepare the sauce. In a small bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup olive oil, lemon juice, parsley, dill, and minced garlic.
  8. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to your preference.
  9. Once the fish is cooked, remove it from the oven.
  10. Spoon the lemon herb sauce over the baked fish before serving.
