A simple recipe for crispy baked fish served with a bright lemon herb sauce.
Ingredients

- 1.5 lbs white fish fillets (like cod, tilapia, or haddock)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- For the Sauce:
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix together 2 tablespoons of olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Brush this mixture evenly over both sides of the fish fillets.
- Place the fish on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
- While the fish is baking, prepare the sauce. In a small bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup olive oil, lemon juice, parsley, dill, and minced garlic.
- Season the sauce with salt and pepper to your preference.
- Once the fish is cooked, remove it from the oven.
- Spoon the lemon herb sauce over the baked fish before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute other herbs like chives or cilantro in the sauce.
- Serve with your favorite side dishes like rice, roasted vegetables, or a salad.
