- 1 pound bowtie pasta
- 1 pound ground Italian beef
- 1 jar (24 ounces) marinara sauce
- 1 cup Velveeta cheese, cubed
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook bowtie pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- While pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground Italian beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned. Drain off any excess grease.
- Stir in marinara sauce, Velveeta cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until Velveeta is melted and the sauce is smooth.
- Add the cooked bowtie pasta to the skillet with the sauce. Stir to combine and coat the pasta evenly.
- Stir in mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses until melted and bubbly.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce.
- Garnish with fresh basil if desired.
