Ingredients
Scale
- 1 (3.4 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
- 3 1/2 cups milk
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 1 (11 ounce) box vanilla wafers
- 3–4 ripe bananas, sliced
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and milk until smooth.
- Whisk in the sweetened condensed milk.
- Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until just combined.
- Layer the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish with vanilla wafers.
- Arrange a layer of sliced bananas over the wafers.
- Pour half of the pudding mixture over the bananas.
- Repeat the layers: vanilla wafers, bananas, and the remaining pudding mixture.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, before serving.
Notes
- For best results, use ripe but firm bananas.
- Chill the pudding for at least 4 hours to allow the wafers to soften and flavors to meld.
- You can add a sprinkle of crushed vanilla wafers on top before serving for extra texture.
