  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup beef broth
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Cooked rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, toss beef with soy sauce and cornstarch.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
  3. Add beef and stir-fry until browned. Remove beef from skillet.
  4. Add broccoli, bell pepper, and onion to the skillet. Stir-fry for 3-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. Add garlic and ginger, stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Return beef to the skillet.
  7. In a small bowl, whisk together beef broth, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Pour over stir-fry.
  8. Cook, stirring, until sauce thickens.
  9. Serve immediately over cooked rice.
